Stratford News: Fire at Savoy Linen

9:40pm--#Stratford CT--Firefighters responded to an activated fire alarm at Savoy Linen at 895 Woodend Road.  When they arrived the found heavy smoke on the second floor and receiving dock.  Additional firefighters were called to the scene and Bridgeport Firefighters provided mutual aid by manning the empty firehouses in Stratford.  Firefighters had the fire out within the hour.
