Easton News: Crash on Sport Hill

11:53p--#cttraffic--#Easton CT--Report of a car crashing into a tree in the  vicinity of 115 Sport Hill Road.  First responders on the way.  Expect delays in the area.  No word on any injuries.  Police just arriving on scene report everyone in the car did get out of the vehicle.  Update, reports now say it is a multi-car accident, possibly 6 cars involved. See, we do cover Easton, just not a lot happens there!

2:21am--#Bridgeport CT--A gunshot victim just showed up at Bridgeport Hospital.  The victim says he was shot in a drive by on Nobel Avenue near Main Street according to radio reports.  No report of what part of the body he was shot in or his condition. 12:11am--#cttraffic--#Trumbull CT--A tree is across the road on Route 111 in front of Marissa's Restaurant block all lanes.  Traffic is being detoured, expect delays.  There is also a report of a tree down on Wood Avenue that crashed into a car with a  woman inside.  She was able to safely get out of the vehicle, no reported injuries.  Another reported down tree on Rosebud Drive.  There are also numerous reports of blown transformers and power out in various areas in town. Bridgeport News: Police Crash Responding To A Call

10:22pm--#Bridgeport CT--A man dusted on PCP on Federal Street was a serious danger to neighbors and police as an officer on scene called a 10-32 a ten code I rarely hear I had to look it up to find it was "Officer Needs Assistance". A number of nearby police cars using code, that is lights and sirens responded. A few moments later a call came for 2 ambulances as an officer responding had collided with a silver SUV on upper Main Street near Renzy Avenue. At first radio reports state the the occupants in the silver SUV were unresponsive but did become conscious as EMS arrived. Bridgeport News: Wild Scene At Cemetery

2:ish--#Bridgeport CT--A car traveling at a high rate of speed on Helen Street, cut across two lanes of traffic while leaving his fender and other car body parts on the green, then crossed two more lane remarkably not hitting any other cars. He then hit Lakeview Cemetery's fence, went airborne sailing over the first rows of tombstones, hitting the second row of tombstones, before hitting the payment of the drive taking up a couple inches of pavement. The car continued for another fifty feet before hitting more tombstones and coming to a stop. We are told the driver appeared to be under the influence of something other than alcohol. Fairfield News: Fire at Warde High School

2:50pm--#Ctfire--Fairfield CT--Firefighters were on scene for a activated fire alarm in the Fitts Tunnel underneath the school.  The school day was over but it was evacuated by those with after school programs when firifghters arrived.   Firefighters discovered smoke in the tunnel and quickly called for additional firefighters to the scene.  It turned out to be motor that caught fire and was quickly extinguished it.  Firefighters ventilated the tunnel and left the around 3:30pm.
