UPDATE:  jjust before 9:30 p.m., officers responded to a call of an injured person in front of 83 Seeley Street  When they arrived, they found the victim, Ivan Rodriguez Mendez, 51, lying in the road in a large pool of blood. He was pronounced dead at the scene. According to witnesses, the victim had gotten into an altercation with one or more individuals.  One suspect is reported to have had a knife and several shots were fired during the incident. At this time, investigators have not determined if the victim was shot or stabbed. His cause of death will be determined at the autopsy which is scheduled for Monday. 9:30pm–#Bridgeport CT–Three shots rang out according to neighbors, two men are shot, one killed in the Went Park area tonight.  One man arrived at St. Vincent’s Hospital by private car and the city’s 10th homicide lay on Seeley Street.  This is breaking news with very little details at this time.  You know as soon as I get further information I’ll let you know.
