#Bridgeport, CT – Sept. 24, 2014 -- The Bridgeport Police Department’s Community Services Division will participate in the National Drug Take-Back Initiative with a goal of keeping our kids safe and protecting the environment. The National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the public about the potential for abuse of medications. “Our primary concern is safety,” said Police Chief Joseph Gaudett. “We know the potential for abuse of prescription drugs.
