4:04pm--#Fairfield CT--A tree has fallen on a car temporarily trapping passengers on Wakeman Road.  Firefighters arriving reporting everyone safely out of the car.     Un árbol ha caído en un coche atrapando temporalmente pasajeros en Wakeman carretera. Los bomberos que lleguen informar a todos a salvo fuera del coche. Uma árvore caiu sobre um carro prendendo temporariamente passageiros em Wakeman Road. Fairfield News: Sailboat Rescue

3:44pm--#Fairfield CT--A Breaker's Lane resident called that a sailboat with 4 adults has tipped over near breakwater E according to radio reports.  Another boat is on scene attempting a rescue.  First responders on the way. Residente carril de un interruptor llamado que un velero con 4 adultos ha volcado cerca del rompeolas E de acuerdo con reportes de radio. Otro barco está en escena de intentar un rescate. Los primeros en responder en el camino. Um morador de Braker's Lane chamou socorro por que um veleiro com quatro adultos foi derrubado próximo paredão E de acordo com relatórios de rádio. 2 Shot on I-95

Video--CAUTION: Strong Language FINALLY got an update! The driver suffered non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his back after being shot somewhere on I-95 between exits 17 and 21.The front seat passenger received cuts from shattered window glass.and a third passenger was not injured. 2:09am--#Bridgeport CT--Just after 2am St. Vincent's Hospital Security called police called that a car that was shot up upon arrival at the hospital.  Radio reports say two males were shot, one shot to the head and the other to the chest.  They were reportedly shot on I-95 somewhere between Norwalk and Bridgeport.  I showed up to photograph the shot up car.  As you can see I got more than I expected. justo después de Hospital del Seguro 02…

2:18am--#UB--#Bridgeport CT--Bridgeport University counters the alleged intoxicated scoreboard with a big fight at Bodine Hall.  Multiple police units were dispatched.  One student was tazed.    Police were busy with this call until about 2:40am   Universidad de Bridgeport contradice la supuesta marcador intoxicado con una gran pelea en Bodine Hall. #West Haven CT--We have been following a possible murder suicide on Peck Avenue  since around 5:30pm Friday night.  The medical examiner has just removed the last body around 1:15am.   Earlier 4 dogs (alive) were removed from the home.   No family members have arrived on the scene even at this late hour.  Hemos estado siguiendo un posible suicidio asesinato en Peck Avenida desde alrededor de las 5:30 pm del viernes noche. El médico forense sólo ha eliminado el último cuerpo alrededor de las 1:15 am. A principios de 4 perros (vivos) fueron retirados de la casa. Taxi Driver Makes Sexual Advances To Sacred Heart Student

12:40pm--#sacredheartuniv--#Bridgeport CT--Bridgeport Police were called to the security office at Sacred Heart University where a student is claiming a taxi driver made undesired sexual advances at her.  She says it is on video surveillance. La policía de Bridgeport fueron llamados a la oficina de seguridad de la Universidad del Sagrado Corazón, donde un estudiante se está cobrando un taxista hizo insinuaciones sexuales no deseadas en ella. Governor Announces Effort to Reduce Standardized Testing In Public Schools

Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced that the administration is taking two actions to help reduce the time Connecticut students spend taking standardized tests.  In a letter to U.S. Department of Education (USED) Secretary Arne Duncan, the Governor asked for USED to consider how the number of high-stakes exams in Grade 11 could be reduced under existing federal law. In the letter, the Governor writes, “I am eager to explore solutions for the students who may be our most over-tested: our eleventh graders.” One potential avenue for alleviating the burden on the eleventh grade would be to examine whether a college entrance exam, such as the SAT, could satisfy the federally mandated high school exam.  In 2013, 83 percent of Connecticut…
