6:11pm--#Bridgeport CT--A motorcyclist was rushed to the hospital after hitting a utility pole on Fairfield Avenue just past Clinton Avenue.  The site has been the scene of a number of crashes, usually by cars driving too fast and not negotiating the turn in the road. 5:11pm--#Bridgeport CT--Two were injured in this crash at Jewett and Main Street.  Traffic was snarled but police kept it moving around the crash.  It was cleared by 6pm. Dos personas resultaron heridas en este accidente en Jewett y la calle principal. El tráfico fue gruñó pero la policía lo mantuvo en movimiento alrededor del accidente. Se aclaró por 18:00. Bridgeport Police Seek Identity of Woman Shooting Gun

#Bridgeport, CT – Sept. 16, 2014– Bridgeport detectives are trying to identify a woman shown shooting a handgun in a video posted on Facebook. The video shows an unidentified female, believed to be in her late teens or 20s, firing a semiautomatic handgun. It is not known from the short video clip whether the incident happened in Bridgeport or in a different municipality in the area. Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the woman or the location of the incident. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective John Pribesh at 203-581-5212. Caller told police threats were made to several employees over the phone to many employees including the chairman. Town Librarian Karen Ronald said, “Pequot Library has been a community partner for decades and we hope this service is of benefit to all Fairfield residents.” All Fairfield residents will be given the opportunity to obtain a Fairfield Public Library card with a Pequot Library affinity sticker attached. 5:27pm--#cttraffic--#Stratford CT--The school bus accident on I-95 southbound between exits 31 and 32 has cleared but there is now smoke condition in the area for about 15 minute now.  No reportedfire in the area around the highway reported. EEl accidente de autobús escolar en la I-95 hacia el sur entre las salidas 31 y 32 ha despejado pero ahora hay humo estado en la zona durante unos 15 minutos ahora. Ningún fuego reportados en el área alrededor de la autopista informó.
