Ribbon Cutting At Tazza Osteria in Fairfield

Although theTazza Osteria and Bar located at 116 Post Road in Fairfield has been open since May they held their official ribbon cutting Wednesday. Although many have asked if it were an oyster bar, an osteria in Italy was originally a place serving wine and simple food. You will enjoy creations from Chef Henry Lopez like grilled salmon, pasta or polenta, pizza or a great steak! Enjoy your meal on the patio, the elegant bar or in their beautiful dining room. I have not had a chance to sample the food just yet but plan on bringing my family soon. Bridgeport Police Need Help IDing Bank Robber

#Bridgeport, CT -- Sept. 20, 2014 -- Bridgeport Police Detectives are asking for assistance in identifying a suspect in a bank robbery that occurred a TD Bank branch at 4865 Main St. at about 6:25 p.m. yesterday. Detectives obtained information showing the perpetrator parked what is believed to be a white-colored Chevy Suburban on Minturn Street and walking to the bank. He later fled the scene on foot after the robbery, entered his car, and traveled down the wrong way on Minturn Street onto Old Town Road.Detectives are releasing three still photographs of this wanted party captured from video footage. #Bridgeport, CT – Sept 19, 2014 – Detectives are attempting to identify a suspect who tried to hold up a business in the 4200 block of Main Street.Detectives Art Calvao and Kenneth McKenna responded to an attempted robbery that happened shortly after 8 p.m. Thursday at the Uptown News, at 4200 Main St.Detectives secured video footage from the location and are seeking the public’s help in identifying the would-be robber.The hooded suspect entered the store with a plastic grocery bag and a weapon. First reports say the injuries are non-life threatening. Una madre y su hijo fueron golpeados por un golpe de un controlador de ejecución en el bloque 1300 de la avenida de Boston.
