(Bridgeport, CT – July 1, 2014) – Two city men face charged in connection with an armed street robbery that occurred Thursday. According to Detective Art Calvao, the robbery happened near the intersection of Reservoir and Woodrow avenues. The victim had been assaulted, threatened with a firearm and robbed of his cell phone and cash. Through this investigation by detectives, two suspects were identified and detectives set up surveillance at their residence on 218 Douglas St. Monday. 3:33pm--#Fairfield CT--Some scary moments for the homeowners at 184 Sigwin Drive when they had a grill fire on their 2nd story deck that was attached to the home. The fire was due to a leaking propane tank. Assistant Fire Chief Scott Bisson took charge of the scene and reported the fire was quickly extinguished and the remainder of the tank was vented.
