11:01pm--#Bridgeport CT--A man in a business suit assaulted a man, the man then went into the trunk of a silver car and taking out a baseball bat. This took place at Howard and Maplewood Avenue. No word on how this turned out. Police are on scene investigating.

#Bridgeport, CT – June 16, 2014 – A city woman reported she was robbed when she agreed to meet a man who owed her money. Officer Marie Cetti spoke with the victim in the 200 block of Broad Street Friday afternoon. The victim said the suspect, whom she knows and owes her money, called her multiple times and the two arranged to meet at the corner of West Liberty Street and West Avenue. She stated that when they met, he pulled out a gun and demanded she empty her pockets. She did and the man ran off with cash. She ran after him and, as he fled, he dropped the weapon.
