Man Charged With Making False Report

  (Bridgeport, CT -- April 30, 2014) – A Fairfield man was arrested after he falsely reported that he was stabbed  and poisoned Tuesday. Police responded to Seaver Circle at 2 a.m. and encountered the 911 caller. The man, Ardit Fejzaj, 26, of Fairfield, told police that he had, in fact, not been stabbed and he stated that he said that he had been stabbed expecting police response would be faster. He went on to state that he had been poisoned by his friends and identified a supposed suspect. Police went to the nearby address of the “suspect”  and explained why they were there.   Modeled after Connecticut’s Green Bank, bank will assist in financing of clean energy, energy efficiency projects   WASHINGTON, DC – Along with lead author Congressman Chris Van Hollen (MD-8) and other House Democrats, Congressman Jim Himes (CT-4) introduced legislation today to establish a Federal Green Bank, modeled after Connecticut’s Green Bank, to help finance the development of clean energy and energy efficiency projects. Bridgeport News: McDaycare

1:11pm--#Bridgeport CT--A daycare visiting the new McDonald's on Park Avenue left one of their children behind.  The McDonald's employees discovered the missing child.  The daycare went back to retrieve the child but the manager wants to document it with police.  UPDATE: A police supervisor was dispatched to Precious Memories Child Care at 1332 North Avenue per request of the investigating officer of this incident.

It was great meeting Gregg and Kyle Miller from Miller Nissan.  They are thinking outside the box as they said and looking to advertise with us!  I can personally vouch for the credibility of the dealership when a couple years ago my 90 year old father in law wanted to purchase a new car.  Another dealership tried to do a bait and switch on him and I said let's try Miller.  I didn't tell them who I was and they treated him with great respect, even thanking him for serving in WWII.  The paid attention to every detail to the sale including adding WICC to the preset on his radio! Bridgeport News: Police Investigate Drive By Shooting

12:39pm--#Bridgeport CT--Police are investigating a drive by shooting that took place in the 1100 block of Park Avenue near Washington Terrace.  Witnesses tell me that there were four shots fired and "Be On The Lookout" radio reports said police were looking for a large burgundy vehicle, there was no maek or model given.  One of those bullets found the neck of a young teen boy who was shot in the neck.  Police spokesman William Kaempffer  said the teen had non-life threatening injuries.  The boy was transported St. Vincent's Hospital, his condition unknown at this time.
