1:44am--#Bridgeport CT--A hungry student caused an evacuation at the University of Bridgeport tonight at 400 Linden Avenue. Firefighters were led in by security were they found the stove on the fourth floor with burnt plastic which cause the smoke which triggered the alarms.
1:22am--#Bridgeport CT--A stolen car from a car lot on Madison Avenue was spotted in the Hollow section of town traveling at a high rate of speed. Police did not even attempt to give chase but instead called Fairfield that a yellow Mini Cooper was heading towards their town on Park Avenue. It didn't take long for the 17 year old driver's inexperience catch up with him when he rolled the car in front of St. Margaret's Shrine. EMS treated him at the scene and transported him to St. Vincent's Hospital for treatment.
12:02am--#Bridgeport CT--A Boutique at 3486 Fairfield Avenue reported to police that they were broken in to, cash taken from their cash register and the place was ransacked. Police are investigating.
11:33pm--#Bridgeport CT--Multiple calls for a white car with tinted windows driving on Colorado Avenue and shooting a gun. No reports of anyone or anything being hit.
9:33pm--#Bridgeport CT--Police are investigating the city's second homicide. Just after 9:30pm Police received a call from a passerby of a man face down and bleeding at the corner of Ellsworth and Whittier Street. The man was actually on Davis Avenue, Whittier Street turns into Davis Avenue at this intersection. The responding officer called a supervisor immediately finding the victim bleeding heavily. EMS arrived and found the victim suffered from a gunshot to the shoulder. The man was pronounced dead at St. Vincent's Hospital around 10:30pm. We don't expect police to reveal the victim's identity until Thursday.

12:46pm--#Bridgeport CT--Busy firefighters are on their way to a rubbish fire, cans of paint on fire near a fence at 100 Federal Street.
12:09pm--#Bridgeport CT--Firefighters on the scene at 127 Catherine Street for a small kitchen fire which is now out. Firefighters are checking on extensions.
