5:00pm--#Bridgeport CT--#cttraffic--Police pursuit 8/25 northbound. Now Route 25 North exit 7, he threw something out the window. The pursuit went on to Route 25 into Trumbull then through Fairfield before Bridgeport stopped pursuing. The driver was apprehended by state police on the Merritt Parkway near exit 41.
We have had two attempts to take over two of our e-mail accounts today. One on Google and another on Yahoo! In both cases we did have to change the passwords. The attacks seem to be coming from Naples Florida.
2:55pm--#Fairfield CT-- Firefighters and Hazmat teams have been dispatched to Sacred Heart University Science Building at 5151 Park Avenue. A chemical spill of a gallon of Sulfuric Nitric acid mixture at Sacred Heart at 5151 Park Ave has left the building evacuated. Hazmat is on the way. EMS on scene to evaluate a couple students possibly exposed.

12:13pm--#Bridgeport CT--At Central Avenue near Deacon Street is a large downed branch taking down a power line. Police received a second call that there is a man holding up the power line to allow traffic to pass........
11:11am--#Bridgeport CT--Today's car fire is a small car fire at 2675 Park Avenue. Firefighters are on the scene.

11:34pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Report of a stove fire that has extended into the cabinets at 773 Clark Street. Firefighters on the way.
6:11pm--#Fairfield CT- The Fairfield Fire Department responded to a report of a building fire at 40 Cider Mill Lane. Engine 4 arrived on scene 5 minutes after receipt of the 911 call and reported seeing visible smoke coming from the second floor of a house. Firefighters quickly determined that there was a fire on the second floor of the house and searched the entire building to make sure all occupants and pets were safely removed from the house. Additional fire units responded to the scene and worked to the confine the fire to the second floor bathroom. Some fire extended to the attic through a bathroom exhaust fan but did not cause significant damage to the roof or structure. The…
