Vehicles must be moved to ‘even-numbered’ side of the street by 8 p.m. today (Wednesday, Feb. 12) BRIDGEPORT, CT (February 12, 2014) – Mayor Bill Finch has declared a Snow Emergency beginning at 8 p.m. tonight (Feb. 12) in anticipation of the snowstorm which is expected to begin in the early morning hours on Thursday and may drop five to eight inches of snow across the area. #Bridgeport, CT – Feb. 10, 2014 – A 40-year-old man has been arrested for an assault and robbery that was filmed and posted on Facebook. The incident happened on Jan. 27 outside a market on Stratford Avenue. The victim said he was brought to the location and, when he exited the car, a hostile crowd began taunting him. He said he went into the store and was confronted by a male when he tried to exit. The man robbed him of his cash and a bottle of liquor and then punched the victim in the head.
