Two People Charged in Attempted Robbery

(Bridgeport, CT – Dec. 6., 2013) – As we reported live as it was happening:  Two people face charges in connection with an attempted street robbery Thursday in which gunshots were fired. Officers Chris Robinson and Ean Smith responded to the 800 block of Queen Street and spoke to the victim. The victim, 38, stated that he arrived home shortly before 1 a.m. and was removing items from his car when he was accosted by two people. One threatened to shoot him. Fearing for his safety, the victim began wrestling with the gunman. The second suspect entered into the fray and began striking the victim. 12:38pm--#Bridgeport CT--Firefighters busy, now on the way to 350 Iranistan Avenue Building 18 for an odor of gas indoors.  Earlier this hour they were at Bridgeport Towers Apartments for smoke on the 7th floor which turned out to be food burning on the stove.
