#Bridgeport, CT – Dec. 4, 2013 – A 28-year-old man faces charges after confronting a man for whom he was babysitting and threatening him with a knife.

The victim told Officer Kenneth Fortes that he returned home from a trip to a fast food restaurant and encountered an angry Lyman Anderson, of Bridgeport. The victim then heard Anderson state that the victim was lucky he “don’t kill everyone in this house.”

The two argued and Anderson grabbed a knife and approached the victim, who discharged pepper spray. Anderson tried to wash his face and then retreated out the front door.

Detained by police, Anderson attempted to negotiate with police and, unsuccessful, fled before being taken into custody.

He was charged with criminal attempt at second degree assault, threatening, escape from custody and interfering with police.

He was held on $25,000 bond. The arrest happened early Wednesday.
