Bridgeport Police responded to a report of a gunshot victim at Bridgeport Hospital Saturday evening. The victim subsequently succumbed to his wounds. He has been identified as a 29-year-old man from Shelton.
The investigation is in its early stages and is believed to have occurred in the area of East Main and Spring streets.
