#Bridgeport CT–Just after 11am the new Ladder 5 truck was returning to the station when they stopped for a traffic light. The accident occurred at the intersection of Madison and Capital Avenue. A bicyclist ran into the back of the truck, possibly breaking his hand after hitting the back of the firetruck causing a dent in the brand new truck. The accident occurred at the intersection of Madison and Capital Avenue.  The bicyclist said he was avoiding an open car door but witnesses say they didn’t see any car door open. The bicyclist was taken to the hospital.
