2:25am--Shelton CT--Shelton has had two break ins in the last hour. The first was a Monts's Mart Route 110 and the second a gas station on Mohegan Road. Police believe it is related to the smash and grab in Newtown. 2 males in a white sedan, possibly and Audi.
2:04am--#Newtown CT--Newtown Convenience Store on Church Hill Road was broken into by two males. 25-30 cartons of cigarettes were taken. At $7 a pack that is quite the haul. They fled in a white sedan.
11:17pm--#Bridgeport CT--If you are on Stratford Avenue near Wilmont Avenue you may want to avoid going near the bleeding man with the knife wandering around.
11:04pm--#Trumbull CT--A car has crashed into a utility pole at Edison and Lillian Road. First responders on the way.
9:44pm--#Bridgeport CT--A strong armed robbery occurred at Fairfield Avenue and Whittier Street. Taken was a T-Mobile Cellphone by two males and a woman who fled in in a silver car. The woman is known and an arrest should be soon.
7:11pm--#Bridgeport CT--The Red Cross is helping 3 adults find housing after fire guts their home at 249 Merritt Street.
7:02pm--#Norwalk CT--A pedestrian was hit by a car on Lowe Street. No word on the extent of injuries.
