Man Arrested in Connection With Two Car Fires (Bridgeport, CT – Sept 24, 2013) – A city man faces charges that he set fire to two vehicles belonging to his estranged girlfriend and her sister. Pedro Rodriguez, 37, of Park Street, was arrested early today on two counts each of reckless burning, first-degree criminal mischief and first-degree reckless endangerment. His bond was set at $10,000. Unlicensed Barbers Ticketed

(Bridgeport, CT  -- Sept. 23, 2013) – Police ticketed  10 unlicensed barbers during spot checks on Friday Officers Christopher Martin and Paul Scillia  conducted compliance checks at five barbershops: Alexzines Perfect Edge on Barnum Avenue; Jeremiah’s Barbershop on East Main Street; Susana Beauty Salon on East Main Street; Lexy’s Los Duros barbershop on East Main Street, and Look’n Image, on East Main Street. At all five, individuals who were cutting hair were found to have no required state license. Jeremiah’s barbershop was closed down after police found what appeared to be an unlicensed tattoo parlor in a rear room.

Rims stolen
