Two bank robberies in Fairfield

#Fairfield CT--Police are investigating two robberies that occurred minutes apart from each other. The first occurred at around 4pm at the Bank Of America at 1320 Kings Highway Cutoff near the circle. About 30 minutes later the Chase Bank on Grasmere Avenue across from Whole Foods was robbed. Police believe it is the same man for both locations and that it may be connected to a string of robberies in Greenwich. Police are looking Hispanic male 5'6”, he wore a blue shirt at Bank of America robbery and red shirt at the Chase robbery. 84 Year Old Sexual Assault Suspect Arrested

(Bridgeport, CT – Sep 9, 2013) – An 84-year-old man was arrested Thursday on a warrant charging him with sexually assaulting a child. Bridgeport Detective Eric King learned that Joseph Livramento, who most recently lived in Cape Verde off the coast of Africa, had returned to Connecticut and had a scheduled appointment at a doctor’s office. He was arrested there Thursday when he arrived at his appointment. Livramento was wanted on a 2007 arrest warrant in connection with the sexual assault of a young relative, who at the time was warrant was 12 years old.
