Green lasers troubling Trumbull
#Trumbull CT--Residents in the Jane Ryan School area have been calling police complaining of a green laser light that has been shined into a number of homes. The calls first stated coming in around 9pm.

11:22pm--#Bridgeport CT---A brief pursuit on Park Avenue ended after police successfully boxed the car in at Park Avenue and Laurel Ave.
10:32pm--#Bridgeport CT--Counterfeit money is being passed in the Bridgeport area. Earlier, over $1,000 was passed at the CVS on Boston Avenue and just now a $100 bill was passed at a grocery store on Pequonnock Street. Double check large bills by looking for the watermark on the bill or purchase a counterfeit detector pen at most office and business supply stores. Police are looking for a dark colored Buick with New York plates in connection to this.
9:30pm--#Bridgeport CT--Firefighters on scene at 305 Putnam Street for a call of a kitchen fire. Firefighters on scene, the person in the apartment said they didn't call. Police are investigating if the call was made to resolve a noise complaint call within the building and the person was upset the police wasn't responding fast enough.
5:55pm--#Bridgeport CT--Bad day to be on a firetruck in Bridgeport today. Engine 1 was just involved in an accident on East Main and Cedar Street. No word on injuries.
5:10pm--#Bridgeport CT--Burning food on the stove is the cause of heavy smoke at 654 Park Street.
2:02pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Report of a two car accident in Bridgeport at the corner of South Avenue and Warren Street.
Video Report--Arrests made in jewelry heist #Fairfield CT #Meriden CT--Last night members of the Fairfield Police Department along with members of the U.S. Marshals office and made five arrests in connection to the kidnapping and robbery at the Lenox Jewlery on Black Rock Turnpike back on April 11th. Police discovered early in the investigation it was an interstate operation. Fairfield Police worked heavily with the U.S. Marshal's Department, The FBI and the U.S. Attorney's office in the investigation.
1:40pm--#Bridgeport CT--A trash can fire near a garage at 463 Garfield Ave. Firefighters quickly douse the blaze.
