Geoff Fox, the popular Connecticut weatherman who fell from grace, is heading west. Fox and his wife, Helaine, have put their 3,367-square-foot colonial on the market and plan to move to Southern California to be closer to their daughter, Stefanie, who works in TV production in Hollywood — and because they’re done dealing with winter, Fox said Monday. 9:44pm-#Bridgeport CT--A city police detective shot and wounded an armed suspect during a confrontation in The Hollow Monday night. The suspect later died at the hospital. The incident happened near the corner of Pequonnock Street and Benham Avenue. The detective was inside Golfinho's Fish Market when he was alerted to a report of a man with a rifle outside the establishment. The detective exited the store and observed the suspect armed with a long gun in a confrontation with two other people. The detective then drew his weapon.
