1:50pm--#Bridgeport CT--Police are investigating a possible break in at JE Liquor Store at 255 Wayne Street. The alarm is sounding and police have found a forced entry way.
Researchers have found that the virus that causes cold sores, along with other viral or bacterial infections, might be associated with memory loss, and if further studies establish such a link, it could eventually prove helpful in preventing strokes or Alzheimer’s disease. 7:55pm--#Bridgeport CT--A woman in the 300 block of Horace Street came home to find her apartment broken into. Upon further investigation it was discovered that the other apartments on the second and third floors were also broken into.

Former Chief of Police for the town of Fairfield recently changed his LinkedIn status to police officer in the town of Bridgewater Connecticut. I message him and he confirmed it. Bridgewater is a small community of about 1,800 residents according to the 2000 census and is the last dry town in the state. Bridgewater is served by one resident state police officer and two other town police officers. David Peck was the chief in Fairfield from August 2006 to May 2010 when he retired. #Bridgeport CT--Firefighters were kept busy with small brush fires in Bridgeport and other towns. Firefighters came across a small brush fire on Old Town Road, extinguished that one and was immediately called out to Route 25 northbound for another small one which they quickly knocked down.
