12:39am--#Bridgeport CT--Wake up Black Rock!! Odor of gas indoors at 19 Waldorf Avenue. Firefighters on the way, here come a bunch of firetrucks to wake you! Metering found nothing....possible skunk spray confused for odor of gas.

9:38pm--#Fairfield CT--The State Police Bomb Squad was called to 1062 Reef Road when construction workers discovered a 37mm anti tank round that had been compromised. The single shell was removed from the home without incident and the State Police will dispose of it. The round was dated 1942 but may have been anti tank rounds for the French during World War I
5:31pm--#Fairfield CT--Police dispatched to Whole Foods 350 Grasmere Ave for a lady in her fifties that has been legally ordered to stay out of the store. This happens a lot in Fairfield it seems.

3:51pm--#Bridgeport CT--#cttraffic--The start of the commute will continue to be tough as they continue to clear the tractor trailer that overturned on the ramp earlier this morning. The attached photo show workers attempting to right the truck, the photo was taken around 3:20pm.
2:06pm--#Bridgeport CT--Police are investigating a disturbance that took place near the Subway/Dunkin Donuts area downtown. Police received a number of mixed calls from the public of a fight or robbery. Police are on scene and sorting it out. If we get any details we will pass them along. One man to bookng at 2:27pm
Westport First Selectman Gordon Joseloff today issued the following statement on the death of Staples High School graduate Roger W. Muchnick in a U.S. Marine Corps training accident in Nevada: “This is a sad day for Westport where Roger grew up. At Staples, he was well known as a popular football and lacrosse player and was well liked by his friends, teachers, and coaches. “He is the second Staples graduate on active duty with the Marines to die in an accident in little more than three years, and our community once again is in shock “Our hearts go out to the Muchnick family and friends. We deeply share their loss.”
10:20am--An overturned tractor trailer spilled its contents onto the highway at the on ramp of 27A causing traffic delays in the downtown. Latest update from firefighters on the scene around 11:00am said the contents are in the process of being picked up and that they should be on the scene for a couple hours minimum. No word on what the contents of the truck were.
