New Haven–A reporter and photographer for Channel 30 were sitting in their live truck, parked across the street from Cerda’s when two people walked by. The two went a little further down the block then turned, braced against a tree, and opened fire on the truck. Four shots were fired. DoingItLocal is run by Steve Krauchick. Steve has always had interest with breaking news even as an early teen, opting to listen to the Watergate hearings instead of top 40 on the radio. His interest in news spread to become the communities breaking news leader in Connecticut’s Fairfield County.
