Shortly after 10am Wednesday morning 39 year old Frank Mazzabufi began wading into the water off a wooded path when he went under. Lifeguards based at the lake’s beach dove in and started swimming out toward the man on their surf boards but he disappeared before they could get to him. Dive teams located him just after 12pm. Frank Mazzabufi is a resident of Shelton.
