Fairfield–11 at 11:42am, the Chase Bank at 161 Hillside Road Fairfield, CT was robbed at gun
point. Three male suspects were involved, two entered the bank and one stayed in the vehicle
which was parked in the rear lot of the bank.

The first suspect to enter the bank is described as a black male, thin build, wearing a white sweat
shirt, blue jeans and black and white sneakers. He had a ski mask over his face and brandished a
handgun at the clerk near the back door.

The second suspect to enter the bank, only described as a black male also wearing a ski mask, no
further clothing description could be provided. He walked up to the counter with a bag and
demanded money from the clerk.  There is no description of the third suspect.

The vehicle involved is a gray Nissan, 4 dr. it fled northbound on Bronson Road with the three
suspects. Surrounding towns were notified via radio, on the Fairfield County “Hotline” to check
major intersections at their respective town lines.

Fairfield officers responded directly to the bank and additional units were dispatched to set up a
perimeter for the fleeing vehicle. Detectives responded to interview bank personnel and to
process the scene for evidence.

The investigation is ongoing and additional details will be provided as it is received.
