Westport Weston Domestic Violence Task Force Announces Personal Care Supply Drive From Thursday, May 21 through Wednesday, May 27, the Westport Weston Domestic Violence Task Force (WWDVTF) will be collecting donations of personal care items to support residents of the Domestic Violence Crisis Center’s (DVCC) safe houses and community clients. The Domestic Violence Crisis Center supports individuals and families impacted by abuse as they work toward safety, stability, and healing. DVCC provides free and confidential services to individuals experiencing domestic violence at any level, helping them build safer environments for themselves and their loved ones. Services include emergency safe housing, housing and financial advocacy, legal advocacy, trauma-informed individual and group counseling, and multilingual/multicultural support services. Westport Police Department Makes Arrest in Connection with Coleytown Elementary School Threat

(Westport, CT) The Westport Police Department announces the arrest of Christopher Iannacone, aged 29, of Southbury, Connecticut in connection with a November 2025 threat made against Coleytown Elementary School. On Monday, November 3, 2025, at approximately 7:34am, the Fairfield County Regional Dispatch Center received a text to 9-1-1 message conveying an apparent threat to Coleytown Elementary School, located at 65 Easton Road. This text message read, “I’ll blow up Coleytown Elementary School.” This resulted in the start of the school day being delayed by two hours, the re-routing of inbound school buses as well as the evacuation of all those that had been on site at the time the threat was received. Westport News: Employee Steals Over $5K Cellphones

#Westport Connecticut--In January of 2017, Westport Officers were dispatched to 877 Post Road East, Radio Shack, on a larceny complaint. Officers learned that it was an employee theft. The regional loss prevention manager reported that one of his employees, Courtney Tucker, admitted to stealing mobile phones from the store inventory. Tucker admitted that she stole approximately 10 I-Phones from a period of December 2016 through January 2017. Officers determined the total value of the ten phones amounted to $5,957.59. A warrant was submitted to Norwalk Court for the arrest of Courtney Tucker. On 03/07/17, Tucker responded to the Westport Police Department where she was processed for the outstanding warrant.
