Armed Robbery at Fairfield Tanning Salon
Just before 7:45pm Friday night Fairfield Police were called to an armed robbery at Sahara Tanning located at 173 Post Road. A white male, about 6 feet tall, blond hair displayed a silver handgun. The description of the suspect at the armed robbery at Adams Bakery is the same including the gray four door Nissan getaway car. The employee locked herself in a room so she could not help in knowing the direction of travel he fled. Fairfield Police immediately notified Bridgeport Police of the robbery.
It is undetermined how much he got away with. Many of our followers on Facebook pointed out it couldn’t have been much since many tanners pay a month in advance and usually pay by credit card.
