Chief of Police Joseph Gaudette said in a press conference Thursday evening “The fact that this involved an innocent 3-year-old girl in a broad daylight shooting in a residential neighborhood where people need to be able to walk safely and freely about that really hit home for us.” Connecticut Post is reporting This was not the first time Small was shot. On Feb. 25 he also sustained a gun shot wound to his buttocks outside Club Lo, along with his brother, Terik “Pig” Williams, according to the arrest warrant affidavit of Det. Michael Fiumidinisi. Circular Wind Blows Tent Tops Off Boy Scout Jam

Orange–We received multiple tweets on our Twitter account that a strong circular wind whipped through the Orange Fairgrounds on Orange taking down many tops and tents at the Boy Scout Jam. Special thanks to @cluise for providing this photo. There are reports of six Boy Scouts injured with two being transported to the hospital for minor injuries. @sherig12 said “closest thing to a tornado I have ever seen in person”. @sherig12: “Large gust of wind lifted tents. Spirally sucked up papers & then went away quickly. <1 min. ” From the accounts it sounds as if it were a micro burst or dust devil. If we get any updates we will of course pass them on.
