Taco Loco Super Bowl Special IS Super!

We found the Super Bowl Package To Feed More Than 8 People!

Last week Taco Loco Tweeted a Super Bowl Special I had to try.  The special claims to feed 8 people, I found this claim to be false.  I had six people to help polish this off, we weren’t even close.  The leftovers fed all six of us again the next day and we still had food left over.!  The price is $49.95, if you take the original claim it feeds 8 that’s only $6.24 a person!  We are talking a meal for the Super Bowl not snacks!  The variety will have something for everyone, my father in law and son loved the buffalo wings and my daughter loved the quesadillas.  My favorite was tied with the nacho supreme and mini burritos.  Everyone loved the tacos!

Taco Loco is located at 3170 Fairfield Avenue Bridgeport.   This Super Special if for take out only.   Call 30 minutes ahead at (203) 335-8228   For just $49.95 to feeds 8 here is what you get:

Nachos Superior
Chips loaded with ground beef, Jack and cheddar cheese, black beans, jalapenos, tomatoes and salsa cruda.

TEN Asian Bistro in Westfield Trumbull Mall hosted a Lunar New Year celebration at their grand opening on January 22, featuring cultural exhibitions and a gourmet Asian buffet for nearly 800 visitors. James Chau and Master Chef Eric Xie celebrated the opening of their new restaurant by hosting an Asian Pacific cultural festival to welcome in the “Year of the Dragon.”   Chef Xie was pleased to introduce his cooking to so many visitors, saying he looked forward to showing them some of the specialties TEN Asian Bistro offers, and to sharing his passion for fine Asian dining with them.

State Representative Tony Hwang served as master of ceremonies, and introduced four Asian Pacific cultural groups to an enthusiastic crowd gathered outside the Bistro in the Lord & Taylor courtyard.  Leading off the celebration was a traditional Lion Dance, a part of the Chinese celebration to usher in the New Year.   The acrobatic and entertaining dance display began a diverse array of artistic performances.  This was followed by a dynamic display of martial arts skills by the Julong Wu Shu Martial Arts School, then six dazzling minutes of sheer energy and motion by the UConn Bhangra Punjabi Dancers.  The performances ended with a lovely demonstration of the art of Polynesian hula dance by Tiare’ Kahana.

Rep Hwang said, “It was personally meaningful for me to organize this celebration and share with our community and neighbors the traditions of festival, feast and fellowship that greet the Lunar New Year.  I take great pride in recognizing the contributions of Asian Pacific Americans in our community – and in presenting entertainment we hope helped our guests enjoy a bit of Asian Pacific tradition and culture

Owner/Chef Eric Xie explained that Ten Asian Bistro is a high fusion restaurant, that is they focus on high quality Asian bistro and sushi. The quality is very high but the pricing I found to be moderate. I ordered the Filet Mignon with shrimp and my daughter ordered lobster with shrimp, both considered high priced items at most restaurants. Each dish was a modest $21, they did not skimp on portion size. The four of us all walked away with doggie bags to enjoy the next day. My son is a sushi connoisseur and he

was in heaven. We all agreed we can’t wait to return for another great meal.

Bryan Gaus, Seninor General Manager at Trumbull Westfield Mall said this is the type of sit down style restaurant customers have been asking for. He said this is Westfield’s vision for future restaurants on the property.

Ten Asian Bistro is locate next the Lord & Taylor store in the Westfield Trumbull Mall.
